Learn to Skate with Schomberg Skating Club
Welcome to our club! If you've ever been to one of our family and friends skate days, you'll know that Schomberg Skating Club (SSC) is all about having fun. SSC offers a variety of programs to cater to all skill levels including:
- Pre-CANSkate / Pre-CANPower (ages 3-5)
- CANSkate (learn to skate)
- CANPower (advanced skating skills with a hockey focus)
- Advanced CANSkate
- STARskate (figure skating focus)
Whether your child has never been on skates before, or they're aspiring athletes, join our club and our professional coaches will help them develop the skills they need to progress into figure skating, hockey, ringette or speed skating. Or, if all they need is the basics, we can help with that too!

Meet Our Coaches
Our coaches are Skate Canada certified, so your child will be learning from the best.
We use upbeat music, visual cues, skill building games and a hands on approach to make sure every child is having fun, and learning at their own pace.
